Important information: Individuals aged 18 years and over, employed by Melbourne Health, who have a Maxxia salary packaging, Meal Entertainment/venue hire or novated lease product which is active on 8 November 2019 will automatically receive up to one entry per product type per customer subject to a maximum of three entries per customer. New customers must have signed up before 23 October 2019. New novated lease customers must have their vehicle ordered by 8 November 2019 to qualify.

Competition opens 8.30am, 11 September 2019 and closes 5pm, 23 October 2019 (AEDT). You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions. 

The competition draw will take place at 3pm on 15 November 2019 (AEDT) at Maxxia’s offices at Level 21/360 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Winner will be notified by email and phone and will be published at www.maxxia.com.au/mhqantas on 18 November 2019. Prize must be claimed by 5pm 18 December 2019 (AEDT)

Period: Competition opens 8:30 am (AEDT) 11 September 2019 and closes 23 October 2019 5:00pm (AEDT).

Eligibility: Entries will only be accepted from individuals aged 18 years and over who are employed by Melbourne Health, on a permanent full time, part time or casual basis at the time their entry is lodged.

How to enter: Employees will automatically receive one entry per Maxxia salary packaging, Meal Entertainment/venue hire or novated lease product which is active on 8 November 2019, limited to one entry per product type and a maximum of three entries per customer. New customers must have signed up before 23 October 2019. New novated lease customers must have their vehicle ordered by 8 November 2019 to qualify.

Prize Details: The first eligible entry randomly drawn will receive the following: 500,000 Qantas Points. The maximum notional value of 500,000 Qantas Points is AU$15,046.92 based on the Qantas Frequent Flyer redemption of 55,200 Qantas Points for a one way Economy Classic Flight Reward from Sydney to London (Heathrow) plus AU$241.82 in applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges, accurate as at 20 June 2019. The dollar fare for an equivalent commercial flight totals AU$1,903 including taxes fees and carrier charges. The Prize value is in Australian Dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken. There is one prize of 500,000 Qantas Points (Prize). Qantas Points may take up to four weeks to be credited to the winner’s account from the draw date (or any redraw date, as applicable). If the winner is not already a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, membership to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, normally valued at $99.50, will be included in their Prize. To accept this part of the Prize, the winner must not already be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, and must complete the standard join process including agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (available at Qantas.com/terms).

Determining the winner: The random prize draws will take place at 3:00 pm (AEDT) on 15 November 2019 at Maxxia’s offices at Level 21/360 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The first eligible entry randomly drawn, as determined Maxxia, will be the winner.

Announcing the winner: Maxxia will announce all winners online on 18 November and we will notify them by email and telephone call using the details provided with each winning entry. The prize winners will be published at https://www.maxxia.com.au/mhqantas.

Claiming the prize: The winners must claim their prize by 5:00 PM (AEDT) on 18 December 2019 by confirming the receipt of the notification by return email, or during the notification telephone call. The winner must be a Melbourne Health permanent full time, part time or casual employee at the time of the prize draw. If the prize is not claimed by 5:00 PM (AEDT) on 18 December 2019 the winner will be taken to have forfeited the prize, and Maxxia will randomly draw another winner from valid entries at 9:00 am (AEDT) on 20 December, at Maxxia’s offices at Level 21/360 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Maxxia will announce the redraw winner online on 23 December 2019 and will notify them by email and telephone call. The redraw winner will be published at www.maxxia.com.au/mhqantas. Accepting any prize may attract Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). This means that acceptance of this prize may impact a winner personally in terms of the fringe benefit being reported as a reportable fringe benefit on the winner’s 2019/2020 payment summary. Before accepting a prize the winner may want to seek advice from their financial/tax advisor on the consequences of a fringe benefit being reported on the payment summary, and the impact this will have on certain Government benefits, levies and charges.

Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Maxxia accepts no liability to you for any loss, including indirect or consequential losses, arising in any way from your entry into the competition or your claim of the prize (including any late, lost or misdirected claims, or any tax liability that you incur in claiming the prize) or your use of the prize (including any inability to use the prize, or any loss including those arising from personal injury) sustained as a result of, or during, any travel paid for with the prize).
